NextPhase Wireless Strategy Update

ANAHEIM, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 30, 2006 -- NextPhase Wireless (OTCBB: NXPW), a next-generation connectivity company that specializes in integrated Internet, voice and data communication solutions, today issued the first in a series of updates on its business strategy, with details on its plans for further expansion of its wireless network 'footprint.' Future updates will cover its plans for extending its geographic reach through selective acquisitions, providing outsourcing services to other Internet Service Providers and the introduction of additional value-added services to its existing customer base.

Network Expansion

NextPhase's Wireless Network Operations Center (WNOC) in Anaheim, California has been built out and is capable of providing flexible, scalable, reliable and cost-effective connectivity solutions to the 135,000 businesses in Southern California within Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.

Through its SkyLink Alliance Program, this wireless footprint now extends into San Diego County and Los Angeles County, expanding the potential customer base to over 440,000 businesses within the shared network.

NextPhase is committed to expanding, enhancing and monetizing its wireless footprint in the following ways:

-- Upgrading / Extending NextPhase Footprint

As previously announced, NextPhase has accelerated its network upgrade
program in readiness to deploy WiMAX services in 2007. Backhaul
capabilities continue to be upgraded to licensed spectrum, and
additional tower sites are being built out as we identify unmet needs
    for cost-effective business-class connectivity services.

-- Extending / Deepening the SkyLink Alliance Program

To date, the SkyLink Alliance Program has focused on bi-lateral
wholesale agreements and joint sales and marketing efforts between
member companies, who are all market leaders in their respective
geographic markets. Currently we are focusing on how we can further
strengthen the Alliance -- identifying additional members that will
further extend our collective footprint; cross-connecting our networks
to lower costs, improve service levels and enhance delivery
capabilities; offering additional value-added services to new and
existing customers by leveraging the Alliance's collective portfolio
    of products, services and capabilities.

-- Monetizing the Network

While NextPhase's wireless footprint uses pre-WiMAX wireless broadband
technologies to deliver business-class connectivity services,
the NextZone™ Connectivity Solutions range of productivity products
and services extends this to delivering public access services in high
traffic, high density locations such as city centers, airports, ports,
    hotels and sports stadiums.

Increasingly, customers expect (and most importantly, they are willing
to pay for) connectivity services to be available outside of the home
and the workplace. While true nomadic broadband capabilities, based on
the WiMAX 802.16e standard, will not be widely available until 2008,
cost-effective connectivity services can be provided to the 20% of the
nation's workforce who spend significant hours each month working
outside of a traditional office in "third places" such as airports,
    hotels, coffee shops, etc.

Leveraging its successful deployment of NextZone™ connectivity
services at John Wayne Airport, one of the 50 busiest airports in the
US, NextPhase is planning to introduce similar services at other
airports within the region, and is also exploring options to extend
this to similar high traffic, high density locations within its
wireless footprint. By combining commercially available WiFi
components along with NextPhase's proprietary multi-beam antenna
design, the NextZone™ WiFi Access Point was designed from the
ground up as a cost-effective solution that can be deployed rapidly,
delivering revenues, positive cash flow and profitability within a
    matter of weeks or months.
