Niblack Drills Massive Sulphide-10.6 metres (34.9 feet) of 3.46% Copper and 4.49% Zinc, 49 g/t Silver and 3.35 g/t Gold at Trio Zone

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 8, 2007) - Niblack Mining Corp. (the 'Company') (TSX VENTURE:NIB) ( is pleased to announce assays results for two additional drill holes from the 2007 surface drill program at the Company's gold, silver, copper, zinc Niblack VMS property located in southeast Alaska. The drill holes were completed at the Trio Zone, an underexplored massive sulphide occurrence, located 400 metres (1,300 feet) east of the Lookout Zone. Both holes intersected significant gold-rich base metal mineralization, and expand the zone by 100 metres (330 feet) down plunge - doubling the zone's depth extent.

- Drill hole LO-206 intersects 10.6 metres (34.9 feet) of massive sulphide and stockwork mineralization grading 3.35 g/t gold, 49 g/t silver, 3.46% copper, and 4.49% zinc. The intersection includes a 6.09 metre (20.0 foot) sub-interval of massive sulphide grading 3.70 g/t gold, 58 g/t silver, 4.64% copper, and 6.99% zinc.

- Drill hole LO-207, testing the sulphide horizon 40 metres (130 feet) down dip of LO-206, intersects 5.67 metres (18.6 feet) grading 4.06 g/t gold, 55 g/t silver, 2.52% copper and 5.31% zinc.

- Drill holes LO-206 and LO-207 are both down plunge step outs from the nearest historic drill hole (LO-134) that grades 2.37 g/t gold, 46 g/t silver, 6.96% copper and 8.18% zinc. Total plunge length of the Trio zone now stands at 200 metres (660 feet), and the zone remains open at depth (see figures posted on the Company's website

- Extensive zones of pyrite +/- chalcopyrite stockwork and replacement style mineralization occur up-hole of reported intercepts, including sections of semi-massive sphalerite (assays pending).

Paddy Nicol, President of Niblack Mining states, "These are the first holes drilled by Niblack at the Trio Zone, and we are excited with the results. The Trio Zone exhibits many similarities to the Lookout Zone, including what appears to be excellent down plunge continuity. The latest results also highlight the bigger picture at Niblack, where a large scale mineral system exists that demonstrates clear potential to host multiple ore bodies."

About the Trio Zone

The Trio Zone is one of six massive sulphide occurrences currently known on the Niblack property. Historically, this zone was defined by six holes, all intersecting mineralization within 200 metres (650 feet) of surface. Mineralization is similar to that at the Lookout Zone, and includes stacked horizons of gold-rich massive sulphide. A new geological interpretation by the Company indicates a moderate to steep south to southeast plunge, with mineralization following the margins of an intensely stockwork-veined rhyolite flow/dome complex. The zone is open at depth with the two deepest holes (LO-206 and LO-207) yielding some of the best grades and widths to date. Underground access to the Trio Zone could be achieved by extending one of the exploration drifts currently under construction at the Lookout Zone by (360 metres) (1,200 feet).

About the Exploration Programs

Whole or partial assay results are now available for nine of seventeen drill holes completed at the Lookout, Trio and Dama zones in 2007. Results for the remaining eight holes, including holes at the Dama Zone and shallow holes at the Trio Zone, will be released as they come available. In addition to the surface exploration, the Lookout Zone is the focus of a major underground program that includes approximately 1,800 metres (6,000 feet) of tunnelling and 9,000 metres (30,000 feet) of underground drilling over the next twelve to eighteen months.

About the Company

Niblack Mining Corp. is a mineral exploration company engaged in advanced stage exploration of the gold, silver, copper, zinc Niblack volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) property located on Prince of Wales Island in southeast Alaska. The Company is carrying out underground and surface exploration programs that are designed to expand the Lookout Zone at depth. The Niblack property has excellent exploration potential and is particularly attractive due to its high precious metals content and year round tidewater access. Niblack is well capitalized with over $10 million in working capital to fund the current underground program.

A rigorous quality control and quality assurance protocol is utilized on the project including blank and reference samples with each batch of assays. All samples included in this release were analyzed at Global Discovery Labs in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Mr. Darwin Green, P. Geo, V.P. Exploration for Niblack Mining Corporation, is the Qualified Person for this exploration project.
