Nimsoft Calls for Entries for Best Practices in Managed Services Awards

Enterprise Management Associates, the MSP Alliance and Ziff Davis to Serve as Judges

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - May 31, 2007) - Nimsoft Inc., an emerging leader of Service Level Management (SLM) solutions, today announced the company is accepting entries for its excellence awards, which is a component of its year-long Best Practices Program for Managed Service Providers. The Best Practices in Managed Services Awards will recognize the achievements of managed service providers who have built a solid business providing exceptional customer service. A comprehensive review of the entries will be performed by an impartial, multidisciplinary panel of third-party jurors comprised of Lisa Ericsson-Harris, research director of Enterprise Management Associates, Mike Vizard, editorial director of Ziff Davis Media's Enterprise Technology Group, and Charles Weaver, president of the MSP Alliance. Any managed service provider who wants to test and measure their business practices against others in the industry may participate.

The awards process was designed to help the program judges assess the applicant's business and also provide an opportunity for the managed service provider to scrutinize their strategy and articulate subsequent business results. "Some managed service providers have been practicing for over a decade. On the other hand, many VARs and resellers are just entering the market to help the surge of customers who need relief managing new levels of IT complexity," said Michael Vizard, editorial director of Ziff Davis Media's Enterprise Technology Group. The winning entries will be judged in the areas of innovative business strategies, values and ethics, and customer satisfaction in addition to cost-effectiveness in service delivery. Winners will be recognized in ceremonies during Nimsoft's Nfluence customer conferences, which will be held throughout November in the United States, Spain, Benelux, Norway and the United Kingdom.
