DETROIT, MI--(Marketwire - April 15, 2010) - The Shield Foundation, a national non-profit charity, will officially present the keys to the home which it is donating to Meekness Consulting PLLC Charity of Detroit on Friday, April 16 enabling it to provide additional temporary housing for needy families or individuals in distress, according to Shield Foundation President Joe Dillard and Meekness Consulting Director Ilene George. Joining in the special presentation will be Shenetta Coleman, Director of Human Services for the City of Detroit. "We are very pleased to donate a house to Detroit's Meekness Consulting to further their efforts of providing wonderful and caring services to many deserving people in the Detroit area," stated Dillard.

Meekness Consulting is recognized and highly regarded for providing nursing and/or mental health services to homeless women and their children. Meekness Consulting is a Professional Limited Liability Company (PLLC).

"We appreciate the kindness and generosity of the Shield Foundation which has reached out to us in the many challenges facing Detroit citizens and to offer assistance in these demanding times," said Ilene George of Meekness Consulting.

The Shield Foundation was founded seven years ago as a 501 (c) (3) public charity by Rusty Shields, a successful businessman from North Carolina, to provide housing and other assistance to families in need. Shields is the principal of Pinnacle Property Solutions, a real estate company specializing in the sale of foreclosed U.S. properties on an international basis.
