"We are very pleased to donate a house to Detroit's Meekness Consulting to further their efforts of providing wonderful and caring services to many deserving people in the Detroit area," stated Dillard.

"We appreciate the kindness and generosity of the Shield Foundation which has reached out to us in the many challenges facing Detroit citizens and to offer assistance in these demanding times," said Ilene George of Meekness Consulting.

The Shield Foundation was founded seven years ago as a 501 (c) (3) public charity by Rusty Shields, a successful businessman from North Carolina, to provide housing and other assistance to families in need. Shields is the principal of Pinnacle Property Solutions, a real estate company specializing in the sale of foreclosed U.S. properties on an international basis.
