Normabec Hits 743 G/T Ag, 0.98% Pb and 0.73% Zn Over 8.47 Meters at Real de Catorce Silver Property, Mexico

ST BRUNO, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 14, 2007) - Normabec Mining Resources Ltd. ("Normabec") (TSX VENTURE:NMB) (FRANKFURT:N6M) through its wholly owned Mexican subsidiary Minera Real Bonanza S.A. de C.V. ("MRB"), is pleased to announce the latest results from its ongoing surface and underground drilling program on the Real de Catorce silver property located in San Luis Potosi State, north-central Mexico.

The current program continues to encounter excellent results from both the underground drilling of the depth extension of the Purisima oreshoot as well as the surface drilling that is focused on the Veta Madre structure.

The Purisima oreshoot remains wide open to the west and at depth. It is important to note from the current program, that bonanza silver grades (individual assays over 1 kg/t Ag), common to the historic mine are being shown to continue at depth. As well, base metal credits (from lead and zinc sulphides) are improving significantly at depth, as the drilling is encountering wide intersections of sulphide material below the old mine workings that have never been tested historically. Best results to date were returned from hole VMP-7 (from 184.63 to 193.10 metres: 743 g/t Ag, 0.98% Pb and 0.73% Zn over an estimated true width of 5.70 metres)

Drilling results along the Purisima depth extension (below mine workings) as follows:

VMP-11 In progress

Note: E.T.W. stands for estimated true width
VMP-7: three Ag assays pending, assumed at 0 ppm

Surface in-fill drilling along a productive portion of Veta Madre structure is yielding the expected grades and widths: Although most assay results are pending, significant vein material has been intersected in all holes but one that intersected an intrusive dike. Only one hole (VMS-3) hit an open stope (vein partially mined out) indicating that historical mining might not have been as extensive as initially evaluated. The Veta Madre vein structure remains open laterally and at depth.

President and CEO Robert Ayotte comments that, "while the drilling from surface along the Veta Madre vein structures continues to confirm the existence of considerable silver mineralization beyond what has been mined historically, the polymetallic grades and widths we are encountering at depth below the old mine workings are a new and very exciting development as to the mineralized potential of the Real de Catorce silver district."

The current program of surface and underground drilling is scheduled for completion in January. Based on the excellent results received to date, the company is undertaking a review of all data to facilitate implementation of an immediate and extensive follow-up program to continue both infill and extension drilling on the Veta Madre Structure both from surface and at depth.

All samples are sent for preparation and analysis by ALS Chemex of Guadalajara. Samples are being assayed by conventional ICP-AES (Inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectroscopy) for 31 elements.

Normabec has a QA/QC program which includes the systematic use of duplicates, blanks, and two silver standards. Between 5-10% of the mineralized pulps are being sent to a second laboratory for check assay.
