Northern Hemisphere Development Corp.: First Gas Well of the Season Licensed

Boogie Trutch/Trutch East Natural Gas Properties

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 15, 2007) - Northern Hemisphere Development Corp. (TSX VENTURE:NHD) is pleased to announce the start of 2007/2008 developments on its Bougie Trutch/Trutch East properties. These properties comprise a contiguous package of 41 sections (square miles) located north of Fort St John, BC in the prolific Tommy Lakes natural gas producing region.

Project operator Focus Energy Trust (TSX:FET.UN) has now licensed a new natural gas well on the property and NHD has paid all costs associated with earning its working interest in this well.

The well will take approximately two weeks to drill. Once successfully drilled and completed, a pipeline (already licensed) will be built to connect the well to the existing line located approximately 1.2 kilometres (0.7 miles) to the west.

NHD currently holds a working interest in three natural gas wells on the properties which have been in production since March, 2007. The Bougie Trutch/Trutch East properties have the potential to support many gas wells exploiting the Halfway Gas Formation which Focus has been developing on the nearby Tommy Lakes field.
