WOODLAND HILLS, CA--(Marketwire - April 14, 2010) -  Governor Schwarzenegger recently signed a $10,000 Homebuyer Tax Credit legislation allowing California first-time homebuyers of newly constructed, previously unoccupied homes, or first-time homebuyers purchasing an existing home on or after May 1, 2010, to receive a California tax credit of up to $10,000 or 5 percent (whichever is less) of the cost of the home. For a limited time, homebuyers can "double-dip" and take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get both the Federal and State of California tax credits.
