Nuxeo Studio, available to Nuxeo's Connect - Developer subscribers, is a web-based customization service for Nuxeo Enterprise Platform (Nuxeo EP) and related packaged applications such as Nuxeo Document Management (Nuxeo DM).

Content Automation & Content Actions
- Create content automation chains by assembling granular blocks of logic. Nuxeo Studio already offers more than 50 content operations (copy, move, create document, transform to pdf, etc.) and new ones can be easily contributed with the extension capabilities of Nuxeo EP.
- Content automation chains can be bound to UI Content Actions expressed with buttons or links on the user interface and scheduled to run regularly or triggered by an event. Moreover, all content automation chains can be automatically exposed as web services (RESTful API), making integration with other systems a bliss.
Content Templates
- Configure content templates to define the initial structure of newly created content objects. Content templates can be used to define the repository layout of folders to be automatically created inside a new document type.
Document Types / Summary View
- Design the "summary tab" of content objects (the "home page" of documents), using all graphic widgets available in Nuxeo DM 5.3.1.
Virtual Navigation
- Configure virtual navigation to allow facetted content browsing, binded on hierarchical metadata. It enables users to browse content on various axis/facets, depending on what they are looking for, making the information a lot easier to browse and find.
Hierarchical Vocabulary
- Easily define the values of hierarchical vocabularies, using a tree-like user interface.
REST API
- Takes advantage of recent Nuxeo EP enhancements, where operations themselves are exposed as REST APIs to offer a high-level and self-documented REST API.
