OCRI/Event Announcement: Building a New Force in Business Communications-Overnight!

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 22, 2008) - On January 31st Don Smith, CEO, Mitel Networks will speak to attendees at OCRI's Technology Executive Breakfast(TEB), about the importance of properly planned integration, the strategy and other lessons learned through the acquisition of a major publicly traded US based competitor, Inter-Tel. This deal represents one of the largest transactions by a Canadian company in the Ottawa region and complements other Mitel investments and international partnerships.

The TEB is part of the infrastructure of the Ottawa region, initiated by OCRI and aimed at ensuring growth and prosperity in the technology sector. TEB is a forum for executives of the Ottawa technology sector to learn about and discuss business issues and supports the "heads up", well-informed conduct of business essential in meeting the challenges of international competition.
