ONESTOP Network Promotes Culture in Toronto

The City of Toronto debuts the "Live with Culture" Campaign on TTC Video Screens Attention: Arts/Entertainment Editor, City Editor, Media Editor, Travel/Tourism Editor, Transportation Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 13, 2005) - Canada's largest digital private network is proud to be a part of Toronto's Live with Culture campaign promoting the cultural efforts of Canada's largest city. ONESTOP will be running 30-second video 'culture bites' through the month of October and November of this year, showcasing local talent and cultural institutions. Submissions were gathered in partnership with the City of Toronto to showcase, in a video format, the outstanding creative efforts of the city.

Part of ONESTOP's partnership with the community, the Live with Culture campaign spans the cultural landscape of Toronto including segments on the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, local Theatre productions and local cultural dance troops.

"It's about diversity- some groups you'll recognize, others will open a door to a new artist or group you've never heard of. That's the beauty of Toronto, the fusion of mainstream culture and unique, more independent efforts weave the cultural fabric of the city." Says ONESTOP President, Mike Girgis. ONESTOP will be showcasing a new segment each day for the first two weeks of the campaign and then re-air the whole library for the remainder of the campaign.
