Oak Valley Community Bank Announces Executive Management Team Promotions


OAKDALE, CA--(Marketwire - January 9, 2008) - Ronald C. Martin, CEO, and Christopher M. Courtney, President, of Oak Valley Community Bank (OTCBB: OVYB), announced the promotion of several members of the Bank's management team and the subsequent expansion of Oak Valley's Executive Management Team.

Signaling the bank's emphasis on full service relationship banking is the promotion of Senior Vice Presidents, Dave Harvey and Wendy Burth, to that of Executive Vice President of Commercial and Retail banking, respectively. In Credit Administration, Mike Rodrigues, Chief Credit Officer, has been elevated from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President. Rick McCarty, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has been promoted to EVP & Chief Administrative Officer in recognition of his oversight of the bank's mission critical functions. McCarty will remain the bank's CFO.

Harvey, as commercial banking group head, oversees all Oak Valley commercial loan relationships through the bank's commercial lending staff. He is responsible for development of commercial loans and deposits throughout the Bank. Harvey has been with the Bank since 2002.

Burth, as the bank's retail banking group lead, has oversight of the Bank's branch network and is responsible for growing retail loan and deposit relationships through an expanded consumer product line and continued delivery of Oak Valley's signature old-fashioned personal service. She has been with the Bank since 2005.

Chief Credit Officer, Mike Rodrigues, has been working in a commercial lending capacity since joining Oak the Bank in 1997. He has been the Bank's Chief Credit Officer since 2006.
