Oak Valley Community Bank Announces Hiring -- Petra Welsh

OAKDALE, CA--(Marketwire - October 15, 2007) - Oak Valley Community Bank (OTCBB : OVYB )
recently announced that Petra Welsh has joined the bank as Assistant Vice
President, Investment Representative. The Modesto area resident will be
working from the bank's Turlock Branch and serving Stanislaus County and
surrounding areas. As a financial advisor for Oak Valley, Welsh will
specialize in the Oak Valley Investment product line, assisting clients in
setting up and maintaining mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and fixed and
variable annuities.
Prior to joining the bank, Welsh was a Senior Registered Representative for
County Bank offering investment advice and financial planning for 7 years.
In total, she has nearly 15 years of banking and financial planning
experience. She was also honored by her previous employer and
Broker/Dealer with the Leadership Recognition Award for 5 consecutive
years, from 2002 to 2006.
Born in Fulda, Germany, Welsh has lived in the Modesto area with her
husband Jack since 1981. The two met when Jack, a Turlock native, was
stationed in Germany while in the U.S. Army. Welsh is a member of Rotary
International and has been since 2002. In her time away from the office,
she enjoys travel and gardening.
