Oak Valley Community Bank Announces Stockton Hirings


OAKDALE, CA--(Marketwire - October 24, 2007) - Oak Valley Community Bank (OTCBB: OVYB) announced today that Loretta Trevena and Cathy Ghan have joined the bank. Trevena will be the Vice President, Branch Manager of the Bank's March Lane branch in Stockton which is currently under construction and scheduled to open in December. Ghan, Senior Vice President, will establish and lead Oak Valley's Commercial Real Estate Division, which will be located in Stockton.

Trevena was most recently employed by Bank of Agriculture and Commerce as a VP, Regional Commercial Banking Officer. She brings nearly 20 years of banking experience and a long history with the community to the bank. She has volunteered for many organizations including, North Stockton Rotary, United Way and the American Cancer Society. She attended the Eberhardt School of Business, Institute for Leadership in Banking, offered through the University of the Pacific. Away from the office, Trevena enjoys golf and sailing. She and her husband Wayne have lived in Lodi for 30 years.

Ghan, has been in the real estate lending industry for the past 25 years. She comes to Oak Valley from Bank of the West, where she managed the Stockton Office of the Commercial Real Estate Division. She serves on the Building Industry Association of the Delta's Board of Directors, and was recognized by the BIA as Associate of the Year in 2005. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Stockton Alliance and Brookside Elementary School - LUSD PTSA. Her extensive volunteer commitments include leading a Girl Scout Troop, mentoring youth leadership programs, fund raising for the Women's Center of San Joaquin, and team building for various non-profit organizations.

Ghan holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco. A lifetime Stocktonian, she and her husband Gary have two daughters. Her interests outside of the office include golf and expanding her culinary talents.

Trevena and Ghan are excited to be associated with a locally owned community bank, once again. Both, at one time, worked for Union Safe Deposit Bank. Stockton becomes the bank's northernmost branch and third location in San Joaquin County.
