One More Round Clothing Debuts in Dramatic Fashion With Signing of 9-Time Welterweight Champion and MMA Superstar Matt Hughes

Brand Is Influenced by Mixed Martial Arts and Straddles the Line Between Athleticism and Higher Fashion; Current Elite XC Middleweight Champion Robbie Lawler Also on Board With Brand

VERNON, CA--(Marketwire - October 9, 2007) - One More Round Clothing is the first and only dedicated martial arts influenced athletic brand available at traditional retail outlets -- and is the only Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) inspired clothing line that is designed for life in and out of the ring.

With several professional fighters already supporting the brand, including 9-time UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes, One More Round has had an immediate and fashionable impact on the sport, and the fans that support it. Influenced by the passion that is MMA, One More Round's styles blend together seamlessly on fitted garments with dramatic images representing the heart, soul and passion of the fastest growing sport in the world. Designed and manufactured in Southern California, One More Round can be found in finer men's clothing stores throughout the country, as well as Nordstrom, Macy's and Fred Segal.

Not content with simply debuting a new clothing line, the One More Round team has ensured a stellar debut. The clothing has already been hanging at Nordstrom, Macy's and other stores, and the selling has been amazing. Now, after that soft launch come the real fireworks. And, they are indeed explosive -- first up was the signing of MMA superstar Matt Hughes to promote the brand, then aligning with Ruthless Robbie Lawler for his most recent fight. "The signing of UFC star Matt Hughes, and the positioning of the brand on 'Ruthless' Robbie Lawler shows commitment to the sport from the OMR team," says legendary cut-man Jacob "Stitch" Duran. Duran, who can be seen using his talent on the biggest fighters in the sport at the largest MMA and boxing events adds, "With so many upstarts entering this field, its nice to see a brand like One More Round not only go after some of the most talented athletes in the MMA universe, but to also see them aligning themselves for growth alongside a variety of mixed martial arts organizations, as well as boxing."

One of those organizations is the rapidly expanding Elite XC organization, and One More Round was there for the Elite XC: UPRISING bout between Murilo "NINJA" Rua and "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler in Honolulu Hawaii. The fight aired live on SHOWTIME Saturday September 15th. Lawler, a One More Round branded athlete, fought for the Elite XC belt and won the fight in three rounds due to a TKO. In addition to Lawler, who wore OMR branded fight shorts, as well as a OMR special edition tee shirt (both will be available soon online via www.matt-hughes.com), OMR branding was present in the fight ring as well.

"The fight in Hawaii really opened my eyes to the long-term potential of this brand," says One More Round founder Mark Zacher. "I am a dedicated fight fan, and I have been living and breathing this sport in order to better focus on the design and execution of the product. I came back to Southern California with an amazing mind-full of new ideas, and I cannot wait to implement them into future One More Round shirts and accessories. We've only scratched the surface of what's ultimately to come."

One More Round's support of Matt Hughes in his quest to submit Matt Serra on December 29th, 2007 will soon be well documented, Matt will be appearing on the cover of Men's Fitness magazine's December issue as well as in car culture and lifestyle magazine, DUB in January. Hughes will be wearing One More Round in both magazines. Later this month, One More Round and Matt Hughes will be making a trek to Chicago to promote the brand at Nordstrom as he takes to the floor there for an autograph signing on October 27 at Nordstrom's Michigan Ave. store. The event begins at 1PM.
