Online Marketing Summit 2007 to Showcase Best Practices From the World's Interactive Marketing Experts

SAN DIEGO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 6, 2006 -- In response to the rapid evolution of online marketing strategies and tactics, a coalition of top marketing organizations today announced a new invitation-only summit focused solely on providing marketers with industry-proven best practices from the nation's top interactive marketers. The inaugural Online Marketing Summit 2007 (OMS) will be held on February 22 - 24, 2007 in San Diego, Calif. and feature First Person Case Study presentations, Leadership Panel discussions, One-on-One Online Marketing Labs, and Hands-On Best Practices sessions to help attendees boost online marketing ROI. Held at the world-famous Paradise Point Resort, Summit session instructors were hand picked from leading organizations such as SEMPO, Business Marketing Association, WebSideStory, ExactTarget, Direct Marketing Association, Business.com, Endeca, and BusinessOnLine.

"Online marketing tactics evolve so quickly that many marketers find it difficult to pinpoint the most relevant and effective tactics for their business," said, Aaron Kahlow, Online Marketing Summit Conference Chair. "The Online Marketing Summit will give marketers two-days of focused education to get up-to-date on the latest techniques and leverage the work and insight of other marketers to chart the course for their own online marketing game plan."

The Summit will employ a "no-vendor" approach -- no vendor booths or sponsorships -- to provide the optimal setting to build relationships and to learn and develop skills in all online marketing disciplines. The Summit agenda is headlined by industry stalwarts such as Eric Peterson, author of "Web Analytics De-Mystified"; Dana Todd, President, SEMPO; John Favalo, Chairman of the Business Marketers Association; and corporate marketing leaders from companies including HP, IBM, Petco and PentonMedia.
