The Online Marketing Summit Embarks on One-of-a-Kind 10-City Nationwide "Summer School Tour"

One-Day "Vendorless" Events Will Showcase Best Practices From the Nation's Top Online Marketing Experts

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - May 31, 2007) - With over 92 percent of attendees to the inaugural Online Marketing Summit (OMS) in February calling for more events, the Online Marketing Coalition (OMC) announced today it is hitting the road on an exclusive 10-City nationwide "Summer School Tour" starting in July 2007. Developed specifically for marketers and designed as the only online marketing event with a "vendorless" environment, each stop on The Summer School Tour will include a one-day seminar where attendees can learn how to improve their online marketing initiatives from first-person case studies, one-on-one website usability/SEO labs, and hands-on best practices workshops.

"As a panelist and attendee, I was so impressed with the content and quality of speakers at OMS. It was refreshing to be amongst my peers in marketing; sharing our experiences and gleaning information that I could put to use when I got back to the office," said Sandra Zoratti, vice president of global marketing for IBM printing systems division. The Tour will also feature presentations with leading brands from local markets and global companies will detail their secrets for success in special "thought leadership" panel discussions.

"The Online Marketing Summit is not a tradeshow or general conference with vendors and sales executives. OMS is about education with the singular goal of providing marketers what they need to succeed in the ever-changing Online Marketing discipline. One should expect a day packed with applicable learnings in areas like social media, search engine optimization, website usability, e-mail marketing, content management and Web analytics," said Aaron Kahlow, Online Marketing Summit conference chair.

The Online Marketing Summit is organized by the Online Marketing Coalition, a group of Senior Online Marketers that recognize the need to raise the bar on education in the Online Marketing Industry. The overwhelming positive response to the inaugural Online Marketing Summit held in February 2007 inspired the 10-city Summer School Tour that will stop in: Atlanta, July 10; Washington D.C. Area, July 12; New York City, July 17; Boston, July 19; Denver, July 24; Houston, July 26; Milwaukie, July 31; Chicago, August 2; San Francisco, August 7; Los Angeles/Orange County, August 9.
