Open Energy Receives $972,000 Purchase Order From Premier Power for SolarSave® Roofing Membrane System

Project Slated for Luxury Destination Resort in Napa Valley

SOLANA BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - June 7, 2007) - Open Energy Corp. (OTCBB: OEGY) today announced that it has received a purchase order from Premiere Power Renewable Energy, Inc., for a photovoltaic roof valued at $972,000 for installation on the new Bardessono Inn in Napa Valley, California. The property is being built by MTM Management, LLC, one of the leading developers of premier destination resorts in North America.

Mark Bettis, Regional Sales Manager for Open Energy Corporation, said, "The Bardessono Inn project is environmentally inspired, with solar power co-generation, water conservation, on-site composting and minimal solid waste generation. We are proud to participate with Premiere Power and MTM in this exciting project."

Open Energy's SolarSave® commercial product will be integrated with Duro-Last® single-ply roofing membranes for this project. SolarSave® membranes encapsulate high-efficiency polycrystalline cells in advanced composite materials laminated under heat and pressure to create lightweight, waterproof, Class A fire rated, UL certified, aesthetically appealing solar roofing systems. They do not require external racks or framing, roof penetrations, or special structural preparation. As a result, they can be quickly installed, easily maintained, and expanded as the power requirements of the resort changes. Premiere Power anticipates that the project will be installed in November of this year.

"Premier Power Renewable Energy is very excited to be a part of this state-of-the-art building integrated solar project. Bardessono has taken the lead in solar application and innovation," says Dean Marks, president of Premier Power. "With this innovative solar project and its renewable energy leadership Bardessono is showing corporate America that being green is not only good for the environment, but also makes good business sense," stated Dean Marks, president of Premier Power.

According to MTM, the Bardessono vineyard will be home to one of the finest luxury boutique hotels in California's central valley when it opens in the spring of 2008. The design concept is to create a 62-room Inn "by and of the Napa Valley" ... an organic approach representing the true character and materials of the region. A carefully designed mix of public areas and private accommodations, Bardessono Inn will offer an indoor/outdoor lodging experience. Bathrooms and bedrooms will make full use of the natural light available from the individually walled, private courtyards.
