Open Letter to INFRAX Systems (IFXY) Shareholders

An Update on Our Progress

ST. PETERSBURG, FL--(Marketwire - February 8, 2010) - INFRAX SYSTEMS, Inc. (OTCBB: IFXY), formerly known as OptiCon Systems, Inc., global provider of interrelated operational management, and communications, related products and services for the Telecommunications and Energy industry, today issued the following letter to the shareholders from CEO Paul Aiello:

Dear Fellow Shareholders,

Last October, when I joined what was then OptiCon Systems as President and CEO, I was invigorated by the quality of our product and its future potential in the marketplace. In the short period of time that followed, we have made significant strides towards creating a vision and a culture which should benefit our shareholders in the long term.

We began by communicating with all of the customers which had purchased the OptiCon Network Manager platform over the years. What we learned from our customers is extremely encouraging for our Company. Their feedback led to the reintroduction of the product into the US market, in addition to our continued sales efforts abroad.

In January, we announced the first US implementation of our product in quite some time for BalsamWest FiberNet. This transaction demonstrated that we are gaining momentum in the telecommunications carrier market, and this momentum will help us complete our transformation from a single product company to an infrastructure solutions company addressing multiple markets.

This was the reason behind the change of our corporate identity from OptiCon Systems to INFRAX Systems.

Portfolio further Defined

At INFRAX, we believe that our future is in providing not only infrastructure management, but also turn-key infrastructure solutions. The first of these solutions is targeted in the area of last mile connectivity for Smart Grid communications in the energy sector. The key to the success of Smart Grid deployments relies on the ability to effectively build and manage real-time two ways communications systems to intelligent devices, including smart meters (AMI). Our Product Development team has spent the past few months meeting with software and hardware providers serving the energy industry, as well as interviewing a variety of Utilities regarding their communications infrastructure requirements and issues. We are also working towards establishing strategic alliances to strengthen our portfolio in the energy sector.

According to May 26, 2009 edition of The New York Times; Networking giant Cisco has estimated that the market for smart grid communications will grow into a $20 billion-a-year opportunity as the infrastructure is built out over the next five years. More fascinating, according to the Energy Information Administration, or EIA, the electric utility market is one of the largest industries in North America and globally the whole industry is expected to spend close to $10 trillion by 2030.

Our pedigree in the telecommunications sector positions us well to become a leader in providing infrastructure connectivity solutions to the utilities and beyond. To meet these challenges, we have a new management team in place that is working hard to solidify INFRAX's future.

Our Game Plan

We are focusing our efforts in the following areas:

Poised for growth

While we still face challenges, we are confident that we are strategically well positioned for the future. We are in a business that provides us the opportunity to benefit from the demands presented by the need for effective real-time communications in the global energy sector. These needs are growing at an incredible pace globally and our focus on innovation will allow us to be at the forefront of this industry.

The continued growth of INFRAX Systems, along with its ecosystem of partners, will be dependent on our ability to execute on our vision, meet our customers' needs and provide value to our shareholders.

I am pleased to be a part of a company that continues to build on its past and look forward to a successful future.
