OpenAir Announces User Experience Initiative

Hires Art Director to Oversee UI and Workflow Design


BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - September 25, 2007) - OpenAir is pleased to announce that Michael Monahan will join OpenAir as Art Director, to oversee OpenAir's effort to improve user experience and workflow within OpenAir's PSA application.

Michael joins OpenAir with more than 15 years experience in information design and interface design, having designed and implemented scores of web sites, intranets, and browser-based interfaces for industry leaders, among them, Verizon, GTE, AT&T, Stone and Webster, 3Health, Bluesocket, Veridiem, CareerSearch, Spinal Technology, and Leostream. He was principal designer and strategist for Verizon's paper bill redesign, and for Verizon's online bill redesign. Michael also has worked with OpenAir in the past.

Michael has taught visual arts and design at Boston University, Dartmouth College, Rhode Island School of Design, and Connecticut College.

He holds a BFA from the University of Iowa, and MFAs from Yale University and Boston University.
