The IBM Smart Governance Forum will look at Smart, Instrumented Information Supply Chains that enable organizations to monitor structured and unstructured information flows, new reporting interfaces that compare current events to past occurrences for risk analytics, and business intelligence solutions that link metrics to scorecards, KPIs to KRIs, and operational efficiencies to maturity goals. The event will explore how to expand the Data Governance Council Maturity Model with 5 new levels to span the distance from Data to Information Governance Maturity.

Gordon Burnes, vice president of marketing for OpenPages, will speak as part of a panel on Operational Risk Reporting. The panel, held on February 2 at 1:30pm ET, will be moderated by Steve Adler, Chairman, IBM Data Governance Council. Joining Gordon on the panel will be Jane Yao, American Banker Association and Jonathan Davies, RiskBusiness International.

Prior to joining Wheelhouse, Burnes was responsible for product marketing at GTE Internetworking's IP Telecom division. Before that, Burnes held several different product marketing and product management roles at Shiva Corporation. Burnes has an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Harvard University.
