Operator Unveils North American Tour; New Hard Rock Heroes to Join Avenged Sevenfold for Major Cross-Country Tour; "SOULCRUSHER" Blazes Up the Active Rock Top 10 as Debut Album Earns Critical Accolades

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - September 25, 2007) - Atlantic recording group Operator has announced details of their upcoming U.S. tour. The Los Angeles-based rock outfit -- whose debut album, "SOULCRUSHER," arrived this summer to widespread acclaim -- will join Avenged Sevenfold on their eagerly anticipated North American headline tour. The trek will kick off at Los Angeles' The Wiltern on October 29th, with dates running through the end of November (additional dates to be announced).

Hailed as one of Revolver magazine's "Bands to Watch," Operator has spent much of the past year on the road, touring alongside such bands as Buckcherry, Papa Roach, and Shinedown. "SOULCRUSHER" received major critical praise upon its August release, earning a five-star rave review in a recent issue of Penthouse.

"Nothing To Lose," the second single from "SOULCRUSHER," which is set to impact at Mainstream and Active Rock radio next week, has already seen early adds at the formats. The album's first single, "Soulcrusher," is shaping up as one of 2007's most significant hard rock hits, having exploded into the top 10 at Active Rock radio outlets nationwide. What's more, the track's provocative companion video -- directed by Artificial Army (Trivium, The Locust) -- can be viewed at a number of online sites, including

With its thunderous rhythms, passionate melodies, and urgent messages, "SOULCRUSHER" conjures the spirit of such classic artists as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, and Guns N' Roses, yet maintains a spirit and philosophy that transcends its influences. Tracks such as the volatile "Nothing To Lose" and the swaggering title track offer ample evidence of Operator's no-holds-barred attitude and passion for creativity.
