Outlook Resources Inc. Commences Innovative Food Waste to Fertilizer Program with Leading US Composting Company

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 18, 2010) - Outlook Resources Inc. ("Outlook" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:OLR) and A1 Organics, ("A1") of Denver Colorado have commenced a project to produce low-carbon renewable fertility and fertilizer products using food waste as the feedstock. This closed-loop solution to food waste generators will use Outlook's recently acquired technology for low resource fertilizer products and waste collected and prepared by A1 from the Denver area.

Outlook produces low carbon renewable fertility and fertilizer products using organic wastes from a variety of sources and markets these products in the agricultural, turf and ornamental markets and consumer retail channels. Outlook's low carbon renewable fertilizers have substantial benefits over conventional chemical synthetic fertilizers used in food production. Included in these benefits are a greatly reduced carbon footprint, reduced water usage and lower pollution from runoff. Outlook's sustainable nitrogen, phosphate, potassium and biologicals, produce industry accepted yield and are based on sustainable renewable feed stocks resulting in lower CO2 footprints. Other components in Outlook's fertilizer improve the plants' ability to utilize the nutrients, reducing dosage and water use.

A1's food waste collection program provides both Colorado and Nevada food waste generators an opportunity to divert food waste from landfills and municipal waste plants. A1 serves major grocery store chains in the region and also provides restaurants and consumers the opportunity to recycle food waste.

Errol Farr, President and CEO of Outlook states "We believe closed loop food waste solutions like this program with A-1 are a cornerstone of our distributed fertility program and are a critical step in the sustainable agriculture movement required to create safe healthy food from safe healthy soils."
