Oxford Media Announces New Dealer Agreement With SkyPath Satellite Systems, Inc.

IRVINE, CA, -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 24, 2006 -- Oxford Media, Inc. (OTC BB: OXMI), a secure digital communication and technology company, announced today its wholly owned subsidiary, Oxford Media Corp., has signed a dealer agreement with SkyPath Satellite Systems, Inc. for digital Video-On-Demand and Pay-Per-View entertainment.

With the launching of high-powered direct broadcast satellites and its inexpensive alternative to cable programming, SkyPath Satellite Systems of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, saw a unique opportunity to carry the advantages of satellite over cable to the hotel sector in providing "free to guest" programming to over 300 plus hotels, all with a small, one dish solution. "The 200 plus digital channel cable model is not fitting the 100 room properties," says Norris Palmer, VP of SkyPath. Palmer went on to state that, "The cable companies' models are built primarily for residential consumption. Putting everything on a digital tier will require a very expensive digital box for every channel, and the payback for the cable company is nowhere near what a residential payback produces.
