Oxford Welcomes the Energy Resources Conservation Board to Centennial Place

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - June 18, 2009) -

Attention Business Editors:

Oxford Properties Group ("Oxford") is pleased to announce that the Energy Resources Conservation Board ("ERCB") has signed a lease for 8 floors of the West Tower of Centennial Place commencing December 2010. ERCB's hearing room, Govier Hall, will also be located at Centennial Place.

The ERCB is an independent, quasi-judicial agency of the Government of Alberta, whose mandate is to regulate the safe, responsible, and efficient development of Alberta's energy resources: oil, natural gas, oil sands, coal, and pipelines.

"Oxford is very pleased to welcome the ERCB to Centennial Place," said David Routledge, Vice President, Real Estate Management - West, Oxford Properties Group. "The ERCB is an important constituent in Calgary's oil and gas industry and in selecting Centennial Place they will maintain superior accessibility for their public and industry stakeholders as well as benefit from the superior design and quality of the building."

Centennial Place has been designed to exceed the expectations of the most demanding and discerning tenants. Located in downtown Calgary's desirable Eau Claire district, the two tower, 1.2 million square foot complex features an efficient floorplate and an abundance of natural light in a modern, architecturally striking building.

"The ERCB is pleased to be moving to a state-of-the-art building that combines an ideal location for stakeholders and staff, flexibility for future growth and significant ongoing operational cost savings," said Gordon Bell, Executive Manager of the ERCB's Corporate Services Branch.

In line with Oxford's Sustainable Intelligence commitment, Centennial Place is being constructed to a LEED Gold Standard, with exceptional indoor air quality, water conservation technology, a green podium roof, and a number of energy saving features including a high performance mechanical system and occupancy sensors on all lights in the parkade and office floors.

Centennial Place is over 65% pre-leased with both towers scheduled for completion in Q1 2010.
