PHD Brazil and Identity Systems Announce Alliance for the Brazilian Market

Identity Search Server v2.7, the Leading Software Solution for Identity Data Resolution, Is Now Available for Local Commercialization and Support

OLD GREENWICH, CT--(Marketwire - May 31, 2007) - PHD Brazil, a Brazilian company specializing in the use, management and integration of data, has agreed to resell and provide support for the full suite of data matching solutions from Identity Systems, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nokia's (NYSE: NOK) Enterprise Solutions business group and a worldwide leader in identity searching and matching technology.

The goal of the alliance is to expand the client base of Identity Systems in Brazil, and offer additional local support and training.

"Identity matching is one of the biggest challenges for data integration projects. Identity Systems is a leader in this field and has shown that it excels in providing solutions for searching, finding, matching, screening and grouping identity data from over 40 different languages and dialects," stated Luiz Pizani, Ph.D., President of PHD Brazil. "We are confident that Identity Systems' expertise will greatly enhance our current solution portfolio as we continue to provide a comprehensive data strategy for both public and private sector organizations."

Already established in Brazil with clients including Equifax, Seras and Bradesco Seguros, Identity Systems believes the alliance will solidify its local presence in the country by further supporting its clients with highly trained professionals with local knowledge.

"We are confident that PHD Brazil's 18 years of product sales expertise, strong technical support infrastructure, and market penetration in the banking, telecommunications and public sector will greatly enhance our growth opportunities in Brazil," said Ramesh Menon, Director, the Americas, for Identity Systems. "By integrating our highly accurate and proven software within computer systems and network databases, along with our 10-year track record of solid Brazilian support, Identity Systems and PHD Brazil will be at the forefront of this evolving market space."

The flagship product of the alliance is ISS -- Identity Search Server -- the company's complete solution for identity searching, screening, matching and duplicate discovery across the enterprise. It provides the functionality needed to identify and extract the desired entities, using data such as name, date of birth, identification id, address, organizations, phone numbers, etc, including other languages (such as from Greek to English), increasing the accuracy of the search and providing savings on services such as the duplicate mailing of documents and catalogs.

Identity Systems' ISS is unique, since the product integrates seamlessly with the most popular databases such as Oracle, DB2, Sybase and SQL Server. It is ideally suited for marketing, safety, auditing, risk analysis, anti-fraud and compliance applications since it allows the user to detect discrepancies in stored data, identifying information likely to be the same, but archived in different formats. Identity Systems' software is specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of large enterprise and government databases such as the implementation with a major credit reporting agency in the U.S. where the solution scales to handle 11 billion records.

"Millions of dollars can be saved with a solution that improves data quality," according to Jaimildo Vieira, assessor to the presidency at PHD Brazil. "What supports solid business intelligence is the caliber of data integration solutions, and excellence in data management and utilization is the core of PHD Brazil's business."
