PHT Corporation Awarded for Best Technology Web Site at the 2007 MITX Awards

Twelfth Annual Awards Celebrate New England's Best Interactive Technology Achievements

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - November 14, 2007) - PHT Corporation, the market-leading provider of electronic patient reported outcome (ePRO) solutions used in over 330 clinical trials worldwide, was named the Technology category winner for its corporate web site, www.phtcorp.com, at the 2007 MITX Awards. The annual MITX Awards is the largest awards competition in the country that recognizes achievements in the development and implementation of interactive technologies. Winners were announced at a sold-out ceremony attended by more than 1,000 industry professionals held on November 8th at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.

"We are honored and excited to receive this prestigious award," said Sheila Rocchio, PHT's Vice President of Marketing. "Having founded the modern ePRO industry in 1994, PHT has a consistent history of technological innovation. We look forward to working closely with clients to bring new and exciting ePRO products -- such as integrated solutions, cognitive assessments and the StudyPad® Tablet -- to market in order to enhance clinical research possibilities worldwide."

The MITX award, which shortly followed PHT's record-setting announcement of $34 million in YTD service bookings, is the latest in a recent string of accolades for PHT. In 2003, the company's flagship LogPad® System won the MIMC Award for Best IT Enabled Business Services; in 2004, its eSense™ Sensors were named as a Spring 2004 Bio-IT World Best of Show Award finalist; and in 2006, the LogPad was named as a Computerworld Honors Program Laureate and won Most Innovative B2B Technology Application from the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council. PHT's founder, Chief Scientific and Quality Officer, Steve Raymond, Ph.D., was also honored by PharmaVOICE as one of the 50 Most Inspirational People in the Pharmaceutical Industry last year.

"New England is home to some of the world's most innovative marketing and creative experts that help national and local brands connect with their audiences through the use of technology. Every year we see more and more evidence of this," said Kiki Mills, executive director of MITX. "MITX is proud to be the foundation for our region's vibrant digital community and to recognize and help keep our developers, marketers and creative practitioners at the forefront of innovation."

Entries were judged by over 100 industry professionals representing various disciplines including creative directors, designers, technologists, online media representatives, investors and business professionals. PHT's web site was developed with RDVO of Somerville, MA, which also helped develop two other award-winning entries in other categories.

"Our primary goal for the site is to educate users with fresh and relevant ePRO content, while also enabling interaction with our technology in a meaningful way -- most notably via our one-of-a-kind LogPad demo, which allows visitors to build and use their own eDiary online," said Kris Sarajian, Senior Marketing Manager at PHT. "By providing dynamic and engaging experiences, we hope to pleasantly surprise clients every time they visit our informative, and now award-winning, web site."
