PSP Announces Exclusive Distribution Agreement

KANATA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 6, 2008) - Pacific Safety Products Inc. ("PSP") (TSX VENTURE:PSP), a leader in the field of protective body armour and soldier systems equipment, today announced that they have entered into an exclusive agreement for the Canadian territory to market Stinger System's line of less lethal EID (Electronic Immobilization Devices) products, including the new S-200. Stinger's products will be marketed by PSP's wholly owned subsidiary APS Distributors ("APS").

The S-200 is the newest less lethal wave form technology in the marketplace. The two-dart hand-held Stinger S-200 is a projectile stun device that combines state-of-the-art features and strategic capabilities with the rugged look and feel of a professional tactical weapon. Unlike, older discharge technologies, the S-200 takes advantage of new microcomputer technology to manage the flow of current. This technology allows for less initial current and spread the waveform over a longer period of time to immobilize the suspect's muscle.

"We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Stinger Systems to bring this exciting and innovative product to Canada." stated David Scott, Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Safety Products Inc. "We share a belief that superior product design, officer safety and customer service are critical in the Canadian marketplace, making for an ideal partnership. The S-200 especially represents a real opportunity for Canadian Law Enforcement to issue the best in less lethal EID devices."

"Stinger Systems is pleased to be working with Canada's premiere law enforcement distributor. APS provides the quality customer service that Stinger is seeking." Says Robert Gruber, Chairman and President of Stinger Systems Inc. "They have a strong portfolio of products, great customer contacts and relationships, and most of all a track record of keen respect in the law enforcement community. Stinger Systems looks forward to a long relationship with APS."
