Palm Hills Developments Selects Enablence for its FTTH Network Deployment

OTTAWA, CANADA--(Marketwire - May 28, 2009) - Enablence Technologies Inc. ("Enablence" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ENA), a leading supplier of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) equipment for triple-play residential and business services and optical components and subsystems for access, metro and long-haul markets, announced today that Palm Hills Developments (PHD), a leading Egyptian real estate development company, has selected Enablence communications equipment for its first FTTH network deployment.

Palm Hills Developments is purchasing Enablence's industry leading Trident7™ Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) Platform and Optical Network Terminals (ONT) for a residential deployment, connecting nearly 4,200 units.
