Pannaway Technologies Receives INTERNET TELEPHONY® Magazine's 10th Annual Product of the Year Award

PORTSMOUTH, NH--(Marketwire - Jan. 16, 2008) - Pannaway Technologies, Inc., designers and developers of converged IP broadband access platforms for telecommunications companies, announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC) INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine has named the company's Multi Media Aggregation Node-20 (MAGNM) as a recipient of its 2007 Product of the Year Award. INTERNET TELEPHONY chose the MAGNM-20 due to its innovation in providing carrier-grade, all-Ethernet/IP broadband access that enables the easy and scaleable migration from legacy transport to next-generation IP-based, optical and copper networks for Independent Operating Carriers (IOCs) across North America.

"Pannaway has proven they are committed to quality and excellence while addressing real needs in the marketplace. INTERNET TELEPHONY is pleased to grant a 2007 Product of the Year Award to the MAGNM-20," said Rich Tehrani, TMC president and editor-in-chief of INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine. "We're proud to honor their hard work and accomplishments, and look forward to more innovative solutions from Pannaway in the future."

Pannaway's latest innovation, the MAGNM-20, boasts a pure Ethernet/IP core-a solid foundation on which IOCs can migrate a legacy ATM or SONET infrastructure to an all-IP, nextgeneration network. Built to power Pannaway's award-winning Service Convergence Network (SCN), the MAGNM-20 delivers a blazingly fast, 922 Gigabit per second capacity and scales to meet emerging bandwidth requirements, insuring IOC customers' investment protection for decades to come.

"We are proud that our MAGNM-20 has been recognized as an INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year," said Mark Carpenter, president of Pannaway. "The MAGNM-20 is the flagship product of our SCN architecture and allows for the at-will evolution to Ethernet-based, IP networks for the IOC community. Whether copper or fiber, the MAGNM-20 enables service providers to deliver broadband services to consumers or businesses-in a mix and match fashion-on the same platform."
