Paraxip Technologies Announces NetBorder Suite Interoperability With Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Speech Server

NetBorder software suite offers powerful connectivity capabilities to Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Speech Server Application Developers

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS--(Marketwire - Oct. 29, 2007) - Paraxip Technologies (www.paraxip.com), a leading developer of connectivity products that empower the deployment of IP Telephony, has announced the support of the Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Speech Server by NetBorder SIP connectivity suite. NetBorder extends the reach of the Microsoft Speech platform to legacy PBXs and switches, as well as to SIP trunks from a new class of VoIP providers, allowing application developers to deploy powerful and cost-effective speech solutions in any enterprise environment.

"With consumer's loyalty generally on the decline, and more and more mobile workforces, it is imperative for companies to extend and unify rich speech-enabled communications to help customers stay in touch with suppliers, partners and colleagues," says Paraxip Technologies President/CEO Serge Forest. "We support Microsoft's vision of taking speech enabled self-service applications to the mainstream by offering our innovative VoIP software suite and facilitate its deployment in heterogeneous networks be they over IP or more traditional TDM networks."

Paraxip's NetBorder is designed as a new enterprise product class and consists of a suite of software modules running on standard computing platforms and the Windows operating system. These modules combine to provide seamless connectivity of SIP-based platforms such as Microsoft Speech Server to external devices and endpoints, over both legacy and VoIP networks, to facilitate its deployment and extend reach. The suite offers unique functionality including its patent-pending Call Progress Analysis functions for optimized proactive notification applications, comprehensive call transfer support for reduced operational charges, integrated IP call recording capabilities for quality monitoring and speech tuning and more.

"Paraxip Technologies adding interoperability support for Speech Server to the NetBorder software-based connectivity suite is significant because makes it easier for companies to deploy enterprise-grade Voice over IP within legacy and hybrid networks at an affordable price," adds Albert Kooiman senior product manager, Office Communications Server 2007 Speech Server at Microsoft Corp. "In addition, the innovative Call Progress Analysis capabilities allow for much more sophisticated outbound dialing applications when combined with the powerful natural language capabilities of Speech Server."

As part of the VON show, Paraxip has also announced a time-limited promotion for purchases of NetBorder Software to be used in conjunction with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Speech Server.
