Paul Trout Joins Pivetal USA Network Managed Services

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Sept. 21, 2009) - Pivetal is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Trout to our Network Managed Services division as Director of North American Business Development. As part of Pivetal's North American unit, Paul shall be bringing his considerable experience to bear, both in Managed Services and in extending Pivetal's OSS Management Systems into carrier and enterprise customers.

With more than 40 years in the telecom industry, Paul Trout brings over 25 years of extensive managed services experience, starting with various management roles at AT&T, and most recently at Nortel in positions including operations, sales, business development and product line management. During his 12 years at Nortel, his leadership and management of people, process and tools saw a handful of small outsource contracts grow into a $200M global managed services business.

Recent accomplishments include development of a managed service offering to monitor and manage voice quality and Quality of Experience (QoE) on VoIP networks - a first in the industry. In this regard Paul comments: "I am of the firm belief that QoE is the next level of network management, replacing network availability as the standard in the converged environment."
