Pennsylvania Launches Nation's First Statewide Electronic Notarization System to Provide Efficient and Secure Transactions

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 30, 2006 --The Pennsylvania Department of State, in collaboration with a special team of the Commonwealth's county recorders and the National Notary Association, will launch a statewide electronic notarization system February 2, 2006 at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

The Electronic Notarization Seal Program will pave the way for secure, high-end electronic transactions, such as home mortgages.
