Perihelion Global Receives Approval of Amended Mining Permit From State of Utah Division of Oil, Gas, and Mining

WILMINGTON, DE and SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - October 30, 2007) - Perihelion Global (PINKSHEETS: PHGI), a development company with interests in natural resources, alternative energies, and advanced communications, today announced that the company has received an amended approval from the State of Utah, Division of Oil, Gas, and Mining, for extraction of material from the company's patented claim (#5797).

The new permit amends the operation plan, section III, parts 3, 5 and 6 of the existing 'Permit to Commence Small Mining Operations' issued to Perihelion on April 10, 2007. Under the amended permit, section III part 3, Perihelion is now authorized to remove 5,000,000 tons of material from the patented claim -- a substantial increase from the prior 2,400 tons the company was authorized. In the amended section III, part 5 now permits additional surface mining and testing. Part 6 permits for an additional 7,000 feet of new road construction on the patented lands.

The company had previously been granted approval to construct and operate an 8,000 ft roadway over federal lands from the US Dept of Interior, Bureau of Land Management to its patented claims until December 31, 2012. That roadway has been completed. The new roadway construction permitted in Part 6 pertains specifically to the company's patented land, and does not replace existing federal permits.

The company also received approval for the mapped areas identified as those that Perihelion would be extracting materials from. Altogether, the approved amendments to the mining permit now give the company tremendous flexibility with its plans to remove and process material from the patented claim, including gold, silver, platinum, crystal and copper.

The amended permit is available on the Pinksheets website at the following address under the 'filings' section. Investors are also encouraged to review the other additional documents available.

The company will provide further updates on its patented claim (#5797) in subsequent releases.
