PetSmart Charities® Dispatches Emergency Relief Waggin' to Assist With Virginia Puppy Mill Rescue

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - November 7, 2007) - PetSmart Charities dispatched one Emergency Relief Waggin' stocked with emergency pet supplies early this morning to help the rescued dogs of a Hillsville, Va., puppy mill. The 53-foot trailer contains enough pet products, food and supplies to support up to 700 companion animals.

The trailer was dispatched from PetSmart's (NASDAQ: PETM) Hagerstown, Md., distribution center loaded with food, crates, beds, litter, tents, generators and other items required for the animal rescue effort. The Waggin' was received by Carroll County Animal Care and Control earlier today.

The public can make a tax-deductible donation to help the pet victims of the Virginia puppy mill rescue and future disasters in one of two ways:
