Phoenix Tech Startup Traklight Celebrates One Year With Record Growth

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - Oct 30, 2013) -   Traklight LLC, a Phoenix-based provider of online software and tools to easily identify and secure intellectual property (IP), celebrates the one-year anniversary of its official launch today. The company officially launched at last year's Arizona Entrepreneurship Conference (AZEC) and experienced rapid recognition in the entrepreneur community noted by growth in revenues, membership and usage of the IP protection solutions.

"We have grown our employee base from one to 14 Trakers to support our remarkable first year," said Mary Juetten, CEO and founder of Traklight. "We have been recognized in several awards and the ecosystem here in Phoenix has been very supportive. We are on track for exponential growth in year two."

In addition to obtaining the Arizona Commerce Authority's Fast Grant for 2012 and 2013, Traklight won Grow America's She Can Pitch contest and Success Magazine's Start Small, Win Big National Challenge. Traklight is currently in the second round of the Intuit Small Business, Big Game 2013 challenge.

The company also forged key partnerships with United Inventors Association, Indiegogo and Women Inventorz Network and is a finalist in the Startup of the Year category for the 2013 Arizona Governor's Celebration of Innovation.

"The entrepreneurial community is growing here in Arizona, and it's thanks to innovative and smart companies like Traklight," said Francine Hardaway, communications strategist and co-founder of Stealthmode Partners, who helps organize and host the annual AZEC. "I look forward to seeing Traklight further contribute to our burgeoning tech scene as they grow and evolve, and I look forward to their involvement in this year's AZEC."
