What: Canadian National Team Snowboarder Alexa Loo joins McDonald's Canada executives, Ronald McDonald, and other special guests at a special event to celebrate McHappy Day. Alexa will get behind the McDonald's counter throughout the day to help raise money for local charities, such as Ronald McDonald House BC and the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation.
   
  More than 1,400 participating McDonald's restaurants across Canada will celebrate McHappy Day. Local media, Canadian Athletes, celebrities and politicians will roll up their sleeves to work behind the counter and help raise money for local children's charities.
   
  Since its inception in 1977, McHappy Day has raised more than $28 million for Canadian children in need.
