Playlogic Entertainment Becomes Officially Licensed PSP® Publisher

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 11, 2006 -- Today, game publisher and developer Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB: PLGC) announced that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, based in London, licensed the company as official PSP® publisher.

The Licensed Publisher Agreement for the PlayStation Portable® grants Playlogic the rights to publish and develop application software for the PlayStation Portable in the territory of Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA), Australia and New Zealand plus all other countries which are members of the European Union or have otherwise implemented the Treaty on a European Economic Area (such as PAL countries).

Playlogic was given publisher status based on its internally developed PSP title "Xyanide Resurrection," which is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2007.

Playlogic's Exec. VP Rogier W. Smit: "With the soon to be released title 'Xyanide Resurrection' we passed all necessary stages of the assessment and we are very proud to announce that we are now an official Licensed Publisher for Sony's PlayStation Portable. We strongly believe in the PSP platform and look forward to adding more exciting PSP titles to our future line-up."

"Xyanide Resurrection" is the "quel" to the old school shoot-'m-up title also developed by Playlogic's in-house studio Playlogic Game Factory, "Xyanide." This game was recently released on the Xbox in the U.S. and is available at retail.

"We are excited to offer our first PSP title in the first quarter of 2007," says Stefan Layer, VP/ Chief Marketing & Sales Officer. "'Xyanide Resurrection' has been specifically designed for the PSP platform and will certainly attract many fans of the shoot-'m-up genre around the globe."

Dominique Morel, CTO/Head of Productions: "Visually, the game looks fantastic, while the fun reveals itself to be immediate and compelling." He continues: "This game with its top notch technology and original art direction will be a great tribute to the powerful hardware of the PSP. The countless fans of the shoot-'m-up' will absolutely love it."

Some of the responses the Xbox version received:

Armchair Empire: "Xbox fans have been starved for a good space shooter since the console's launch. Now it looks like they'll finally be getting one."

GameDaily: "...what really complements the game is its challenge. The game is far from a pushover, as you'll see enemies flooding the screen and grounded foes firing up at you to no end."

Gamefaqs: "It takes all the great shoot-'m-ups you've played over the years, rolls them into one and churns out a quality product. It's evident where the creators of this title got their ideas and it's also evident that they wanted to put out an outstanding product that they could be proud of. Well let me be the first to say they did!!"

GameSpot: "...Microsoft's old console still is getting a few interesting titles, like 'Xyanide.'"

Gamers Europe: "What is ultimately a 2D shooter brought into a 3D world, 'Xyanide' brings a unique twist on the gameplay that it deserves to be talked about." And, "...'Xyanide' could be one of the best 3D shooters in several years, certainly the best on the Xbox."
