Direct to Fan Platform Pledge Music Teams Up With Atlantic Records for Natty Campaign

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - April 20, 2010) -  Pledge Music (www.pledgemusic.com) the groundbreaking direct to fan platform, has entered into a unique partnership with Atlantic Records and UK chart-topping artist Natty to record and promote a new EP. This partnership offers fans an enhanced experience with an artist, proving that direct-to-fan funding and major labels are not mutually exclusive models for the music industry.

While working on his second album on Atlantic Records, Natty has teamed up with Pledge Music to record a separate stripped down collection of original songs. This acoustic EP will be available through his Pledge Music campaign, alongside a range of exclusive incentives for his fans. The new EP titled "The Things I Done" will be comprised wholly of original acoustic songs.

In addition, Natty has committed to giving a percentage of monies raised via Pledge Music to the Sarcoma Research Fund in tribute to Trip-Hop pioneer Johnny Dollar, who co-produced Natty's debut album.
