Polycom's New President and CEO Appointed to Board of Directors

PLEASANTON, CA--(Marketwire - June 17, 2010) - Polycom, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLCM), the global leader in telepresence, video and voice communications solutions, announced today that its new President and CEO, Andrew Miller, has been appointed to serve on its Board of Directors, with a term as a director commencing immediately.

As previously announced on May 10, 2010, Mr. Miller was named president and chief executive officer. Prior to this, Mr. Miller served as Polycom's executive vice president of Global Field Operations.
