Port of Rotterdam Expands Xmarc Usage

FRANKFORT, KY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 6, 2005 -- PlanGraphics, Inc. (OTC: PGRA), announces that the Port of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, has exercised its option to expand the usage of Xmarc technologies in the management of the Port's assets. Over the past three years, the Port has migrated its client-server applications to Xmarc's Internet-based products and doubled its use capacity.

The Port of Rotterdam is the largest seaport in the world. The Port provides accessibility for ships with very deep draft (24 meters), and its excellent connections by water, road, rail and pipeline make Rotterdam an outstanding logistic hub. In 2003, some 328 million tons of cargo passed through Rotterdam. Most of the trans-shipment entails bulk goods such as oil, chemicals, coal and ores. Rotterdam is also Europe's largest container port.

The Xmarc-based applications give the Port the capability to track usage and manage Port property for handling and temporary storage of cargo.

The expanded use follows the Port's recent initiative to roll out a capability to utilize Oracle Forms as an interface to the Port's legacy databases and to train additional staff in the Xmarc application development tools. PlanGraphics also provided both the Oracle Forms application and training program.
