President Berdymuhamedov of Turkmenistan and CNH Discuss Long-Term Partnership

LUGANO, SWITZERLAND--(Marketwire - October 9, 2007) - CNH (Case New Holland) was the leading sponsor of the Eurasia Group's recent luncheon honoring President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov of Turkmenistan in New York City. This was President Berdymuhamedov's first trip to the United States.

Following the luncheon, Franco Fusignani, CEO of CNH International, met privately with President Berdymuhamedov. This presidential meeting celebrated the long-lasting co-operation of CNH and the Turkmen government. The talks focused on how to continue the partnership and on the role that CNH will continue to play in the further expansion of Turkmen agriculture.

Since 1994, Case New Holland and the Turkmen government have worked to develop and increase productivity and wealth in the agricultural sector, including introducing the most advanced farming technology. In this period, Case IH Agriculture has supplied 2,600 units of tractors, combines and cotton pickers.

Case New Holland has successfully provided full service to all its units together with IPC Agri. CNH covers Turkmenistan with workshops, service vehicles and mechanics.

The company has provided Turkmen farmers and machine operators with extensive technical and operational training to maximize our machines' productivity and to minimize operational cost and maintenance.

The cooperation between the Turkmen government and Case New Holland has maximized productivity according to local conditions and resulted in yields at a top international level.
