Proliance Completes PIES Certification and Begins Electronic Exchanges With Trading Partners Using Comergent eBusiness Solutions

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 12, 2005 -- Comergent Technologies®, Inc., the leading provider of service oriented eBusiness applications, is helping Proliance International, Inc. improve sales and work more smoothly with its trading partners. With Comergent's C3 Product Management, Proliance can now link its product information with resellers of its automotive products, giving them a complete view of Proliance's product offerings in a familiar format. As a result, trading partners are more likely to find products that meet their specifications in Proliance's catalog -- increasing sales, reducing calls to Proliance for simple product information, and minimizing the number of incorrect orders in the process.

Proliance is a leading manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket heat transfer and temperature control products for automotive and heavy-duty applications. By implementing the Comergent eBusiness System™, Proliance is increasing its compliance with PIES, the Product Information Exchange Standard established by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), to which both Proliance and Comergent belong. PIES makes it easier for members of the automotive supply chain to exchange product data electronically.
