Pronexus Continues to Innovate, Delivers VBVoice 5.3:
Unparalleled Performance & Scalability for IVR &
Telephony Development in High Density Environments

OTTAWA, CANADA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 4, 2005) -

Computer Telephony and Speech Developers Benefit From Advanced Resource
Management, Broad Support for Dialogic Hardware and a Management Console
with Optional Source Code

Pronexus Inc., a leading provider of computer telephony and speech
software solutions since 1993, today announced the release of VBVoice
5.3, a rapid application development environment for creating scalable
and flexible telephony applications such as speech-enabled IVRs,
hardware-less VoIP solutions, and much more. VBVoice 5.3 delivers the
scalability and reliability required to develop and deploy effective IVR
and other telephony applications, introduces a range of new management
options, and adds support for Intel® NetStructure™ DM/V voice
boards, among others.

"VBVoice plays a key role in our large-scale telephony applications for
emergency notification systems and contact center automation," commented
Matt Scipione, President of Voice Technologies Inc. of Richmond, VA. "It
allows us to rapidly respond to customer requirements and to create the
high performance solutions that our business requires; its broad
hardware and platform support, modular architecture and integration into
Visual Studio .NET are key benefits for our organization."

VBVoice 5.3 also expands on the popular Pronexus Application Console: in
addition to the existing Visual Basic 6 console, a .NET version is now
available. This console permits centralized administration and reporting
for call centers, hosting organizations and other large-scale
environments. It allows them to answer and distribute calls to
different applications residing on one or more telephony servers. It
manages and routes calls based on specified rules, monitors application
performance, and logs calls and events.

Developers can purchase the source code for the Pronexus Application
Console, allowing them to jump-start their projects and to expand the
console's capabilities (available as a separate option).

"VBVoice continues to lead the industry with respect to application
integration, scalability and flexibility, said Gary T. Hannah, President
& CEO of Pronexus. "With VBVoice 5.3, we have further broadened the
platform support and responded to our large scale customers with the
availability of source code for the application console."

VBVoice 5.3 also introduces support for Windows 2003 (Standard and
Enterprise) on Intel Dialogic hardware and includes a new hardware
interface optimized for peak performance and flexibility in resource
