Proton Laboratories and Its Current Business Progress

ALAMEDA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 30, 2006 -- Proton Laboratories, Inc., (OTCBB: PLBI), a biotechnology company that develops practical uses for electrolyzed water, unique byproducts of the electrolysis process and the use of the electrolysis process in direct and indirect applications, is providing additional information to complement its Press Release dated July 25, 2006.

With additional funding that was raised during the past 120-day period, the company was able to assertively move its 3 primary business objectives forward. The designs and engineering of the company's proprietary anti-microbial systems have been completed and assembly of the units have commenced with a delivery date of December, 2006 on schedule. The importance in the company having these proprietary designs is to ensure that market needs are met with each of these designs. Through these designs, we have achieved a simplicity in operation, user friendliness of the hardware, longevity and reliability, compactness and a turn-key approach to electrolyzed water production. As more industries become aware of the efficacies and the need for electrolyzed water, the importance of these hardware features become more profound.

Interim results that have been attained from an accredited, 3rd party testing laboratory, has shown the efficacy of the company's antimicrobial spray to have rapid germicidal activity for an antibacterial and antiviral agent against Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), ATCC 6538 and Escherichia coli (E. coli), ATCC 11229. The summary to this testing reads, "the test article was tested, in duplicate, as outlined in the protocol (three puffs of spray at a distance of 8 inches) with exposure periods of 1 and 2 minutes. Results showed that a 99.98% (3.71 log10) reduction in numbers of tested bacteria was shown after 1 minute exposure to the test article and a > 99.999% ( > 5.06 log10) reduction in numbers of the test bacteria was shown after 2 minutes exposure to the test article." Currently, the company has completed product design of its proprietary spray and awaits additional testing on the stability of the product.

Additionally, the company is readying the filing of a U.S. patent on its licensed design of its upcoming proprietary residential water-enhancing device. The patent application has been filed in Japan and will be filed shortly in the U.S., Canada and China. The company is currently evaluating the market positioning of this uniquely advanced product. Proton will be the exclusive licensee of the patent.

With the upcoming addition of Dr. Robert Lawrence as Vice President of Research and Product Development allows for the company to be able to effectively take a product from concept, testing, to market readiness in a cohesive and expeditious manner.
