Proxity Electronic Commerce Announces Funding to Accelerate Marketing and Sales Efforts

Proxity-EC Has 250 Client-Subscribers, With Over 800 Users of Its PECS Database Subscription Service; New Funding Will Allow More Aggressive Marketing of This Service That Ensures Users Full Access to All Military and Federal Bid Opportunities

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA and NEW ORLEANS, LA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 11, 2006 -- Proxity, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PRXT), managing partner of Proxity Electronic Commerce Systems LLC (Proxity-EC), today announced that it has received $150,000 in equity funding that is to be used to accelerate the marketing and sales of its PECS Database Subscription Service.

Barry Nelsen, CEO of Proxity-EC, stated, "I am pleased to announce that we have received an additional $150,000 in funding from the sale of nominal equity interest in the company." Mr. Nelsen further stated, "Since roll out of the PECS Subscription Service this past June, we are already over 800 users from 250 PECS Subscriber clients, and growing."

With appropriate financing, Proxity-EC intends to add an additional 7-10 sales people during first quarter of 2007. The third phase of development of the PECS Database has now been completed, including delivery of data associated with all aspects of acquisitions by the U.S. Government. The next phases of delivery will include solicitation data from all 50 States as well as 'parts specific' information used by the U.S. Military. The company intends to become a ONE STOP SHOP for any company looking to sell its products or services in a global economy via the PECS Database Subscription Service.

Proxity-EC provides logistics data on 12,000,000 commercial parts as well as the award history on over 22,000,000 historical Government awards on 6 million National Stock Numbers built by 165,000 companies, technical characteristics on 4 million parts as well as the price paid by the Government and the price the Government charges its fighting forces after administrative fees are applied. The PECS Database provides all Non-classified Military and Federal Specifications and Standards and Non Government Standards. Proxity-EC is the only company providing all the databases as well as the alert service for a monthly price of $120.

The PECS Database Service provides subscribers with all data needed to bid on Government contracts including an email alert service that provides same day awareness to contractors of open solicitations that fit the contractor's profile of products that may meet the Government's requirements.
