The Government of Canada has a comprehensive approach to security planning, and we are on track to host safe and secure G8 and G20 summits. The security plan has been developed by Canada's best experts in the field.

Our government will continue to support police and law enforcement agencies by giving them the tools they need to bring those who threaten our safety to justice.

We will follow this case with interest."
