Puradyn Announces the puraDYN® Oil Filtration System to Be Installed on Cusco Vacuum Trucks

BOYNTON BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - November 1, 2007) - Puradyn Filter Technologies Incorporated (OTCBB: PFTI) today announced that the puraDYN® oil filtration system for hydraulic applications will be standard on all Wastequip-Cusco piston pump vacuum trucks.

Cusco is a division of Wastequip, Inc., the world leader in the manufacturing of waste handling equipment, which is the exclusive distributor to the waste industry for Puradyn products. Since 1969, Cusco has manufactured vacuum truck equipment for industrial, commercial and environmental applications, becoming a member of the Wastequip organization in 1991.

Through use of the puraDYN system, the servicing cost to operate the equipment is significantly reduced and components within the hydraulic system are well protected against particle contamination. As this type of truck is considered a highly sophisticated application, the number of units produced annually is low, but the value of each is over $250,000. To be applied to equipment of this value provides instant credibility for puraDYN systems with other potential users.

Kevin G. Kroger, President and COO, Puradyn, said, "The partnership between Wastequip and Puradyn continues to build credibility for the puraDYN oil filtration system as a reliable solution to reducing hydraulic and lubricating oil costs. In addition, the puraDYN system reduces U.S. dependence on foreign oil and the release of harmful emissions into the atmosphere. As the largest supplier of equipment to the waste industry Wastequip has made a strong commitment to combining service with a positive effect on the environment, and we are proud to be able to offer a significant addition to that commitment."

Kroger went on to say, "Wastequip sales personnel have been canvassing their regular customers in the waste industry. Doors have been opened and evaluations already begun for use of our products on both diesel engines and hydraulics. Going green is on everyone's mind, and apart from the savings which result from reducing the amount of oil consumed and the handling and disposal of used oil, there are the benefits to the environment by creating less used oil and more efficient engines."

Kroger concluded, "While early, the opportunity is for more than 100,000 vehicles, most of which will require two puraDYN systems, one for the engine and one for the hydraulics. We're doing our part to reduce our dependency on foreign oil, conserve our natural resources and are confident that with the partnership of Wastequip the concept of bypass filtration in the industry will be well-received."
