Puradyn Receives Green Light for Buses in Colombia

Now for Transmissions as Well as Engines

BOYNTON BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - November 6, 2007) - Puradyn Filter Technologies Incorporated (OTCBB: PFTI) today announced its distributor in Colombia, Arbel Trading Company LTDA ('Arbel'), has received a purchase order for an additional 120 puraDYN® oil filtration systems from a major Colombian bus company, bringing the total of systems for transmissions ordered to over 300. This purchase order is the result of Puradyn's successful conclusion of a year-long evaluation on bus transmissions. With this most recent order, the population of puraDYN systems on bus engines and transmissions in Colombia now exceeds 700 units.

Arbel plans to expand beyond engine oil filtration to include transmission oil filtration with other bus companies in Colombia, and to develop business in surrounding South American countries where these same transmissions are used. Use of the puraDYN system has resulted in an 83% reduction of new oil purchases and subsequent reduction in handling and disposal of waste oil. By keeping the transmission oil clean, maintenance intervals have been extended over 200%.

Joseph Vittoria, Chairman and CEO, Puradyn, said, "The results of this test should open the door for further opportunities with large transmissions on other equipment. By using the puraDYN system, our customer has safely extended service intervals for oil and filter changes from 18,000 miles to 60,000 miles.

"Also, oil analysis results proved that the internal wear was significantly diminished on these bus transmissions installed with the puraDYN system in comparison to the transmissions not using the puraDYN system. Arbel has indicated that this trend establishes a curve that will safely extend full-scale maintenance overhauls, which typically cost around $5,800, from 187,000 miles to a minimum of 375,000 miles.

"With the emphasis on customer savings through extended oil service intervals and maintenance intervals, Arbel expects to increase Puradyn sales for both transmission and engines in South America."
