Quantum to Highlight New StorNext 4.0 Software Features, Including File System Deduplication, at Leading Industry Events

Product Demonstrations and Technology Presentation to Be Given at NAB, Bio-IT World and SNW

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - April 7, 2010) -   Quantum Corp. (NYSE: QTM), the leading global specialist in backup, recovery and archive, today announced plans to showcase its recently released StorNext® 4.0 data management software at two key conferences in April, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and Bio-IT World. In addition, the company will conduct an educational session at Storage Networking World (SNW) Spring 2010 on the integration of deduplication into file systems.

NAB
Quantum will highlight features from its new StorNext 4.0 data management software that streamline workflows and protect digital assets, including timecode-based partial file retrieval, file-based replication, and nearline deduplication. StorNext offers native interoperability with Apple Xsan making it ideal for the media and entertainment industry to share, access, and manage rich media files resulting from new digital technologies, including 3-D video.
