Questerre Updates Drilling Progress on A-8

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 27, 2007) - Questerre Energy Corporation ("Questerre" or the "Company") (TSX:QEC) (OSLO:QEC) reported today on the drilling of the A-8 well at the Beaver River Field.

The second intermediate casing string has been successfully set and cemented in the upper portion of the Mississippian Prophet formation at a measured depth of 2990m. High-pressure gas was encountered in an open fault and fractures above and in the upper Prophet formation. Total depth for the well is prognosed at 4200m or approximately 1200m of additional drilling. Questerre expects drilling operations to be completed by year-end with testing in early 2008.
